DIO's Mansion
It shelters the eponymous character DIO during the events of Stardust Crusaders. As the hidden lair of the main villain, it is portrayed as the final stop for the protagonists and is the setting of a few pivotal encounters.
Architecture
DIO's mansion appears as an extravagant three-story mansion made of terracotta, noted to be quite old, situated in one of the older districts of Cairo. The main building is surrounded by a wall and an extensive garden which includes numerous palm trees and other exotic plants. There are four towers on each corner of the rectangular main building. The mansion is ferociously guarded by the falcon Stand user, Pet Shop.
The interior mixes the derelict and the luxurious with most of it either dimly lit or pitch black due to the vampiric nature of its proprietor.
Its rooms include the coffin room situated at the top of one of the mansion's towers in which lays a coffin, and Telence T. D'Arby's underground room which mimics a tropical island in the middle of the sea, possibly due to Kenny G.'s Stand.
Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak / Crazy Heartbreakers
In 1999, DIO's mansion is now owned by Mariah and Kenny G. The couple transformed the mansion into a hideout, making it a very valuable safe house considering the unsecure environment it resides in. The street it's on in Cairo has been considered a "cursed street" by the locals ever since Wilson Phillips ran over the numerous civilians on the sidewalk in 1989. The mansion now keeps away pursuers due to being in a cursed street as well as Kenny G. creating illusions with Tenore Sax to confuse those who approach. They allow guests to stay in rooms in the mansion, but the cost of staying is very high. Kenny G. also makes the rooms look like a luxury hotel, with the sea being visible from the window of one room. Power outages are common in the area, so Mariah relies on Bastet for electricity. She also creates an electric shutter to allow access for entrants.[2]
Oingo and Boingo stay as guests in the mansion so Oingo could hide from gangs and debt collectors.[3]
